Core Carbon Principles: A Break or Make Moment for the VCM

The Core Carbon Principles are expected to boost confidence, overcome market fragmentation, and eventually help the VCM rebound.
The updates include the 10 Core Carbon Principles, Program-level Assessment Framework, Assessment Procedures, and the Core Carbon Principles’ Attributes.
So far, market participants seem to have a mixed response toward the CCP.
We see this as a work in progress leading to essential steps towards a transparent, regulated-like market, allowing market participants to rely on the market without fearing reputational risk.
